Once an empty bin is moved, for example, to a Clothing stockpile the dwarfs will move up to a certain number of individual. Empty bins are stored in Furniture stockpiles. The equipment are accessed instantly when the dwarf need to perform certain tasks, like collect water, fish and dive. You must also have empty stockpile of those types for bins to be moved. Would love it if you could enable your marksdwarves to try and stay in range instead of charging in like idiots (physical barriers required to actually make use of their bolts is kind of silly in my opinion) Anyways bit of venting. Bins only work for: ammo, armor, bars/blocks, cloth, coins, finished goods, gems, leather and weapons. :[Īmmo selection, and fixed ammo bins hopefully coming soon. Can't dump it, can't make them stop either, tried restricting. All of them stuck in that loop to, running back and forth not delivering, not picking up. When I unlock the door, 30 or so of my other dorfs come rushing to deliver more ammo, only, they leave it right under the door tile, so now I have a train just running to "store item in stockpile" and pick up item from stockpile. They just stopped picking up ammo eventually, so I thought i'd let them go rest for a bit. There isnt such a command for zones, so tough luck there. You need to be selecting the stockpile for it to work. I believe the hotkey in the starter pack defaults to alt+p. Enables plants in the selected stockpile. There is a dfhack command to copy stockpiles so you dont need to redo the custom stockpile assignments. Imports a player-exported settings file named plants, or the library plants settings file if a player-exported file by that name doesn’t exist. (locked them inside the room with a ton of bolts there, both in bins and without bins. Imports the library plants settings file into the currently selected stockpile. ![]() ![]() it worked great the first 100 bolts or so. Placed them in a long corridor walled off by fortifications so my archers could level insanely fast on live targets. Much agony and despair has been had by us on account of accidently hitting that key at the wrong time. 'a' is the toggle for accepting from links only, and it is also the toggle for mining-designations. This time around, I captured some undead gobbos in cages. you likely hit 'a' on accident when setting up the stockpile. We all know it is difficult enough to have your dorfs equip bolts as it is.
